The Well Being Trail was an inspiring tour of our new green spaces along Kentish Town Road. The route included:
- A tour of the ‘Well Beeing Garden‘ at the James Wigg practice from 11am-12:30 for a free laughing yoga session
- Live music at the Platform 1 Cottage Garden at KT overground station between 1:00-2:30pm
- A pop up Camden Air Action stall showing how green spaces help counter pollution
- With the day will finishing at ‘The Listening Space’ at The Caversham Group Practice between 3 – 5pm where free tea and herb scones
Dee Searle, member of Camden Air Action, says “Air quality monitoring has revealed that NW5 has some of the highest pollution levels in London, which have been linked with a wide range of health complaints.
The Trail of Well-being is the first step towards re-envisaging Kentish Town as a cleaner, greener, welcoming public space that locals, visitors and businesses can enjoy – and to encourage all of us to work together to create long-term solutions.”
Special thanks to Elisabetta Giordana for her lovely promotional graphics for the event.
Locals are fed up that our high street is “filthy, noisy, traffic-clogged and unhealthy.”
